About Skills Canada - Ontario
Skills Canada – Ontario is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the skilled trades and technologies as viable, first-choice career options for Ontario youth. The experiential learning opportunities organized by Skills Canada – Ontario align with the Peel board's Making My Way – Success for All Students initiative by promoting the exploration of educational and post-secondary opportunities in the field of trades and technology.
The Peel District School Board is currently affiliated with this non-profit organization and therefore schools have the opportunity to participate in the numerous experiential learning programs and events organized by Skills Canada – Ontario.
