
Counting On You (COY)
Operation of the Counting On You (COY) program will vary at schools. Schools may operate the program through a distance learning model during the school year or may suspend program delivery. Please connect with your school directly if you have any questions.
Dual Credit
Dual Credit programs will continue as usual with Semester 1 courses offered in an online format as per the college program model. Semester 2 delivery will be determined depending on college programming decisions.

Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP)
The OYAP program will continue to be offered as per past practice in semester 2. We’re currently awaiting direction from our college and union partners regarding the program delivery format. More information on this will be shared.
Applications for Accelerated OYAP Level 1 continue to be accepted for semester 2. Any questions regarding this process may be directed to your OYAP Resource Teacher.
Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM)
SHSM sector programs will continue to be offered. Any questions regarding SHSM sector courses may be directed to your SHSM Resource Teacher.
Co-operative Education
The Co-operative Education (Co-op) program will continue with enrollment depending on placement availability. Please speak to your Instructional Coordinator – Pathways, Guidance and Career Education if you have any questions about the program.
Ontario eLearning Consortium (OeLC)
The OeLC program will continue using a normal timetable schedule (not quadmesters, as per the modified in-school program). Students will continue to be enrolled in eLearning courses. Any questions regarding OeLC may be directed to the eLearning Resource Teacher at 905-890-1010 (or 1-800-668-1146) ext. 2509.
March Break and Summer Camps
Decisions regarding the operation of March Break and Summer 2021 camps, such as Camp Explore, Coding Camp, Camp I Can and Focus on Youth will be made later in the school year, depending on the pandemic status and applicable requirements at the time. Camp opportunities will be communicated via schools through an online application process.
On Feb. 11, the Minister of Education announced that March/Spring Break, currently scheduled for March 15 to 19, 2021, has been postponed and moved to April 12 to 16, 2021. More information will be shared with families and staff as we learn more.
