Barondale Public School makes a difference for the Ardglen community
Students and staff at Barondale Public School came together to raise money for the families who were affected by the Ardglen Drive fire in Brampton on June 8. Three fundraisers were held to support their efforts. A popcorn fundraiser was organized by school council members on June 12, along with a polling station run by student ambassadors in order to raise awareness of the Ardglen fire and the families and encourage community members to support the Ardglen community. The final fundraiser was a toonie drive on June 13.
After a final tally, we were able to raise a total of $1280! We appreciate the hard work and efforts of our staff, students and their families and their outpouring support for Ardglen community.
