Greenbriar Middle School's Teens for Jeans campaign exceeds this year's goal of 400. More than 420 pairs of jeans were donated by Greenbriar families and friends. All donations will be distributed to youth in need in Brampton.
Through the initiative of the Greenbriar Middle School’s school council, the school is launching the Teens for Jeans campaign, from Mon. Jan. 13 through to Fri. Feb. 14, 2014. The campaign is organized in partnership with Aeropostale clothing, www.DoSomething.org, and Greenbriar to help outfit homeless children with jeans.
It is really easy to take part. All you have to do is donate clean, lightly used jeans (i.e., no holes). They can be any size, color, brand or style. In return, Aeropostale will give you a 25 per cent discount card for every pair of jeans you donate.
If you chose to participate in the campaign, you are asked to tear off and complete the bottom portion of this form and put it in the pocket of the pair of jeans being donated. Then have your child bring the jeans to school and hand them in directly to Mrs. MacKenzie or Mrs. Baird. Office staff will record each donation when received, students will be directed to place the jeans in the donation box.
