Schools lend a helping hand to Typhoon Haiyan victims

The Peel board set Thursday, Nov. 21 as Toonie Thursday to send urgent support to respond to the needs of all families and children affected from the typhoon in the Phillippines.

Schools did an excellent job raising money to help victims from this diaster. Money will given to UNICEF to help support their mission to provide clean water, protection and emergency supplies for the families affected.
