He was your typical youngster, searching and exploring for a specific hobby, something to keep him active, ambitious and perceptive. Jayden Nelson had tried various sports at Copeland Public School and later at Sir William Gage Middle School. One thing, Nelson recalled, remained consistent: he was always kicking a ball – a soccer ball.
His mother had signed him up for house league soccer in Brampton but, back then, as a four-year-old pre-schooler, development milestones and skills were new and raw. Very active, there was plenty of energy and the signs of imaginative ideas that came from the mind of a child.
