TL Kennedy Secondary School recently hosted its EdTech Student Summit for students in the International Business and Technology (IBT) Regional Learning Choices Program. The summit provided students with the opportunity to learn about technology to utilize at school and in their future careers.
At the event, students participated in a variety of workshops hosted by the EdTechTeam Canada who is a global network of educational technologists who provides professional development experiences. The workshops included coding, 3D printing, group problem-solving and more.
The IBT program is a specialized regional program that focuses on Business and Technology through the lens of the Ontario Curriculum. The program engages the modern learner with a global focus using project-based, cross-curricular, inquiry-driven learning that is enhanced by technology.
