Shaw Public School’s second annual Cram-a-Cruiser Holiday Food Drive

Shaw Public school invites students, staff, and parents to participate this holiday season in their Cram-a-Cruiser food drive. Starting December 5th and running until December 16th, this year's food drive features donation graphs, with a pizza party given to thee classes bringing in the largest volume of food donations. Further promoting numeracy in class, students will also solve challenges connected to the food drive.

Paper Christmas trees line the front hall of Shaw Public School, one for each grade from Kindergarten to Grade Eight. Students participating in the event fill out a Shaw heart with their name and room number, and will hang a heart on their grade tree for each donation made.

On the final day, December 16th, students and staff will fill police cruisers and the Knights Table Food Bank van with all the donations collected. Parents are invited to watch the event from the sidewalk in front of Shaw Public School at 10:00 a.m.
