Clarkson Secondary School student recognized for outstanding athletics
Margaret Pham, a grade 12 student at Clarkson Secondary School, has been named City of Mississauga's Female Athlete of the Year. Pham earned the title in recognition of her outstanding athletic performance. She has been a member of Clarkson's field hockey team for the past four years and helped her team win a total of three ROPSSAA titles and place fourth at OFSAA. Pham is also a member of the provincial field hockey team and junior national team, and participated in the Junior Pan Am Games in Trinidad.
Pham was recently named the recipient of a $2,000 Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) scholarship. She will attend the University of British Columbia for kinesiology in September 2016.
