Peel board sends athletes, community leaders, celebrities back to school at Kindergarten Live! event

Online registration now open for Kindergarten Live! parent tradeshow

To help parents prepare their children to start school, the Peel District School Board will host Kindergarten Live!, a series of information sessions in late November and December. Families will have the opportunity to see kindergarten classes and ask questions about what they can expect from their children’s kindergarten experience.

“Starting school is a big step and an exciting time for families. At the Peel board, we want to do everything we can to ensure parents feel confident their children’s school experience will be one filled with joy and learning,” notes Brian Woodland, director of communications and community relations. “Parents tell us they have lots of questions about the kindergarten experience—from what to pack for lunch to how the program is taught. So, we’ve partnered with child care providers to help provide families with the information they need to ensure children’s transition to kindergarten is a smooth one.”
