Event streamed live for students at David Suzuki Secondary School
Students from David Suzuki, Gordon Graydon Memorial and Louise Arbour secondary schools will travel to Windsor, Ontario to join thousands of students from across the province at the Windsor Family Credit Union Entertainment Venue on April 25 for an event featuring David Suzuki. The event is designed to promote student awareness of environmental and climate issues.
“This is an amazing opportunity for our students to hear from such an inspirational environmental leader and Canadian icon,” says Harpreet Neelam, “It’s important for our youth to hear and share his message of hope for our planet.”
Later in the day, Suzuki will take part in an announcement unveiling a project dedicated towards providing youth sustainable tools and resources to foster positive environmental stewardship. This announcement will be made at the Tecumseh Historical Museum, with Peel board students in attendance. The unveiling will be streamed live through a webcast to students at David Suzuki Secondary School in Brampton, who will participate in a panel discussion with Suzuki following his announcement.
Suzuki’s presentation will run from 10 a.m. to noon, and will be live-streamed and broadcasted throughout Ontario. David Suzuki Secondary School is located at 45 Daviselm Dr. in Brampton.
