What is a lunchroom supervisor?
Lunchroom Supervisors supports students in regular, early learning and special needs classes to provide lunch break supervision on a daily or supply basis. As a lunchroom supervisor, you'll ensure the safety and security of students by providing supervision in the classrooms during lunch breaks.Where are lunchroom supervisors needed?
Lunchroom supervisors are needed in schools in Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga.
How much time is involved?
Lunchroom supervisors generally work approximately one hour per day (or more depending on the school's requirements) during the school year from September to June.
What are the benefits of being a lunchroom supervisor?
As a lunchroom supervisor, you will earn $14.35 an hour plus a minimum of 4% vacation pay.How can you apply?
Since this is a casual position that works daily or on-call, on a day-to-day basis during the school year (September to June), lunchroom supervisors must live within a reasonable distance to the school.
Lunchroom supervisors are hired by schools directly. Interested candidates should contact the school within your surrounding neighbourhood to inquire if there are any opportunities. Applicants should submit a covering letter and resume outlining why you would like to be a lunchroom supervisor, your experience and/or your interest in working with children with special needs. You will also be required to provide two supervisory references.
