Patricia Runzer, community outreach supervisor with City of Mississauga's MiWay, made a presentation to recognize and celebrate the 10th anniversary of the student ambassador program to promote the use and benefits of public transit.

Trustees award tender for construction of Elm Drive Public School

The Board of Trustees approved that the tender in the amount of $19,549,000 including HST, for the construction of Elm Drive Public School, be awarded to Torcom Construction Inc.

Peel board approves renaming of McCrimmon Middle School, subject to consultation

Trustees approved a motion to rename McCrimmon Middle School subject to a consultation process, and board approval. The consultation will include current McCrimmon students, staff and families, and community.

Peel board approves Student Census 2019: Secondary School Report

Trustees approved the Student Census 2019: Secondary School Report which provides accurate and objective demographic data that will describe the student population of the Peel board for students in grades 9 to 12. All schools engaged in the process of conducting the Student Census in November 2019.

Peel board approves borrowing resolution for school board current expenditures

Trustees approved a borrowing resolution for school board current expenditures to meet the ongoing expenditures from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. Details can be found on page 97 of the full Regular Meeting of the Board agenda for December 10, 2019.
