Graphic and Design Management
The Graphic and Design Management (GDM) program focuses on many pathways related to design such as graphic, fashion, architecture, video game design and animation, interior design, urban design, industrial design and engineering, and packaging design. GDM students take Technology Design courses for four years, and have the option to focus on specific disciplines in grades 10 to 12. This challenging, technology-based program is offered at Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School
GDM students will gain valuable experience in all aspects of the design industry with guest speakers and field trips relevant to their specific needs and interests. They will acquire specific qualifications required to pursue various fields of study beyond high school. They will participate in exciting design challenges through the Canadian Design Exchange Museum, National Yearbook Review, Robotics, and the Phoenix Challenge.
Applicants—local and out-of-region
Our Regional Learning Choices Programs are open to all eligible students. Students in Peel and the surrounding area may apply to the GDM program for grade 9, 10 or 11. Students who meet the criteria for acceptance to the programs and who live in Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga will be offered spots first.
Students who meet the program criteria and who live outside of Peel Region will be offered spots once local student applicants have been accommodated. In some cases, all spots may be offered to students who live in Peel.
