Over 30 Peel schools recognized as certified healthy schools for significant efforts to enhance health and well-being

The Peel District School Board is proud to announce that 33 Peel schools have successfully completed Ophea's Health Schools Certificate and are designated as a Gold/Silver/Bronze certified school.

Ophea's Healthy Schools Certification recognizes and celebrates school communities for promoting and enhancing the health and well-being of students, staff and the broader community. Participating schools across Ontario completed the 6-Step Health Schools Process, which aligns with the Ministry of Education's Foundations for a Healthy School resources and the Well-Being Strategy for Education.
