Louise Arbour encourages Reduce, Reuse, Recycle at E-waste Roundup and Seedling Sale on June 2

Louise Arbour Secondary School, in partnership with Shift Recycling, is holding an E-waste Roundup and Spring Seedling Sale on Saturday, June 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the school parking lot at 365 Father Tobin Road in Brampton.

Members of the community are invited to drop off old electrical and electronic equipment for responsible recycling. Accepted items include: computers, laptops, printers, televisions, stereos, batteries, cell phones and small household appliances.

Organic vegetable seedlings, grown by LASS Eco-Club students, will be available for purchase for the spring planting season. Seedlings include plum, roma and cherry tomatoes, hot and sweet peppers, eggplant, basil and coriander. 

All proceeds from the E-waste drive and seedling sale are in support of the LASS EcoSchools program.
