Students and staff at Centennial Sr. Public School will host a free Family Wellness Night on May 17 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. At the event, students and their families will have the opportunity to walk through the array of information booths from multiple organizations, including YMCA and the Family Education Centre, and engage in a variety of fun workshops and activities.
This event is open to families of Peel District School Board students from its feeder schools:
- Copeland Public School
- McHugh Public School
- Morton Way Public School
- Ridgeview Public School
The event is intended to promote personal wellness and encourage families to bring these learnings back home and incorporate them into their day-to-day lives. Families will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of 20 minute workshops that focuses on a variety of topics, including healthy eating, yoga, rock wall challenge, stress management and more.
