The Minister of Education has requested that t he reviewers submit a final report with recommendations for next steps to him by Winter 2020, and that an interim report be provided to him by the end of 2019.
How can I participate in the review?
Members of the Peel board community are invited to participate in the review. The reviewers will be meeting with some individuals and groups of individuals in person. In order to schedule an interview with the reviewers, please contact them at the following email address: PDSBReviewers@ontario.ca.
Given the timelines, the reviewers may not have the opportunity to meet with everyone who expresses an interest to meet with them. However, the reviewers wish to hear from everyone who would like to express views consistent with this review's purpose and the same email address may be used to provide written comments: PDSBReviewers@ontario.ca. Written comments are encouraged and will be reviewed as part of this process.
Please note that individual names will not be used and the report to the Minister will be drafted so as not to identify individuals wherever possible. The reviewers are not able to provide an absolute guarantee of confidentiality, as disclosure could be required by a court or other adjudicative body, or otherwise by law. However, in situations where a request made under access to information legislation would reveal personal information about an identifiable individual, it would generally be subject to a mandatory privacy exemption and would, therefore, not be released.
Thank you in advance for sharing your experiences, perspectives and recommendation.
