Peel board recognized as a partner for Provincial Centres of Excellence for Early Years and Child Care

The Peel District School Board is proud to be recognized by the Ministry of Education as a partner for Provincial Centre of Excellence for Early Years and Child Care to support transforming early childhood education – nationally and internationally. By working with the Ministry of Education and partners from across Ontario, including Western University and Ontario Reggio Association, the Provincial Centre of Excellence for Early Years and Child Care will be a public forum for the advancement of Ontario early childhood education.

In November 2017, the Ministry of Education announced a Call for Proposals for Centres of Excellence for Early Years and Child Care as part of Ontario's action plan under the Canada-Ontario Early Learning and Child Care Agreement. The three Centres of Excellence: Provincial, Indigenous and Francophone, will connect practitioners, education institutions and service providers through innovative professional learning networks across Ontario.

Updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
