Here are free downloads of plug-ins and software you will need to access most online courses and many web sites.

	Browser Plug-ins	Information
	Macromedia Flash Player	Some sites have enhanced graphics using Flash. This player is needed to view the media.
	Java Runtime Enviroment	The Java Run Time download will allow you to see Java applets running on a web page. The download may take a while as it is 5.3 Meg in size.
	Quicktime	This has been one of the standards in online video.
	Windows Media Player	Some streaming media files require this player.
	Acrobat Reader	Some sites and some courses have pdf files available for downloading. You will need this reader to view these files.

	Microsoft Internet Explorer	Many web sites require a current version of Internet Explorer in order for all the site's functions to operate.
	Mozilla	One of the best alternative browsers to IE by the Mozilla foundation.
	Netscape	An alternative browser based on Mozilla.
