Adult PLAR can provide a number of grade 10 and 11 credits to mature students who:

dropped out of an Ontario high school with only a limited number of grade 9, 10 and 11 credits
wish to complete their Ontario diploma by adding to the credits received from their high school in another province
are new to the country and need to complete the requirements for a high school diploma in Ontario
are new to the country, possess a high school diploma in another country, and wish to obtain the Ontario diploma equivalency
